The Chargers baseball team competed as the 5th seed in the 2016 GCAA Region XVII Baseball tournament hosted at Darton College from May 11-14. The team won their first game against Gordon College on May 11 with a score of 7-4.

However, their luck was quick to run out, as the Chargers lost their next game to #1 seed Darton College 6-1 on May 12. The team had another chance to make it to the next round later that day in a game against East Georgia State, which the Chargers lost 7-3.

With these losses, the Chargers’ baseball season has come to an end.
