New interns arrive on Rome campus
Devyn Sheehan-Hicks and Youlanda Elkins-Hight may be a couple of new names to people at FC. They are new interns for the Counseling and Career Center.
Sheehan-Hicks and Elkins-Hight are available by appointment at students' request for career, academic and personal counseling. They also make presentations in various classes on campus on such topics as resume writing, interviewing, test anxiety and stress. Elkins-Hight, who spent some of her earlier days here at Georgia Highlands College, is now enrolled at Argosy University, where she is finishing up her degree in counseling psychology. Sheehan-Hicks is using her internship at Georgia Highlands College to complete her EDS of Community Counseling at the State University of West Georgia.
