Dream Team & Hob Nail Boot taste victory

The Dream Team and Hob Nail Boot are this season's intramural champs.

For the final game of the 3 -on-3 basketball tournament, the Dream Team was up against the undefeated Celtics. The Celtics put up their best fight but still fell to the Dream Team 48 - 36.

Tim Smith was the Celtic's leading scorer with 17 points. The Dream Team's leading scorer was Charles Hill with 20 points.

The championship team consisted of Ryan Loyd, Charles Hill and Dayne Styles.

In the championship flag football game on Nov. 9, Hob Nail Boot defeated Out of Shape 13 - 6.

Tennis tournaments began Oct. 18. Thirty students are participating in the tournaments, which are divided into four categories: men's beginner, men's intermediate, women's beginner and women's intermediate.

The FIT program ended Nov. 12.

If you didn't get a chance to see or play any intramurals this semester, there's always spring intramurals. They will include 5-on-5 basketball, volleyball, golf tournaments, the FIT program and Ultimate Frisbee.
