GHC Women Beat Southern Crescent Tech, Advance to Region Semifinals
The GHC Lady Chargers basketball team was victorious in GCAA Women’s Basketball quarterfinal action tonight as they cruised to an 86-54 victory over Southern Crescent Tech.
Freshman forward Jahnarria Brown scored 24 points and had 20 rebounds. Ciara Thompson scored 21 points and added 12 rebounds and Nijeria Jordan added 19 points.
They dominated the boards outrebounding Southern Crescent Tech 63-21
The Lady Chargers advance to the GCAA conference semifinals as they will face off against Central Georgia Tech on Friday, March 1st. The remainder of the GCAA Women’s Basketball tournament is held at South Georgia Technical College in Americus, Georgia.
