GHC’s students and employees as well as members of the community came together on the Cartersville campus April 24 for a memorial ceremony in honor of the late Carolyn Hamrick.
During the ceremony the campus student services center, which was previously known as simply the “HUB,” was renamed the “Carolyn H. Hamrick Student Services Hub.” Approximately 100 people attended the ceremony.
Hamrick was dean of the Cartersville campus and died unexpectedly in January.
