Men’s basketball

The #9 nationally ranked Chargers had a two-game winning streak in the GHC Charger Classic, including a victory over the #8 Cape Fear College Sea Devils, outscoring them 79-71 on Friday, Nov. 20. The Chargers have defeated three nationally ranked teams this season.

The Chargers also defeated Shooting 4Greatness Academy from Raleigh, N.C. with a score of 108-80 on Saturday, Nov. 21.

In other news updates, the Chargers defeated Gadsden State on Nov. 18 with a final score of 103-87. The Chargers are now 9-1 for the season.

 

Women’s basketball

The GHC Lady Chargers defeated Gadsden State with a score of 82-64 on Nov. 18. The Lady Chargers were led by De’Ashia Jones, their 6 foot sophomore forward from Georgia Tech, with 18 points.

The GHC Lady Chargers also defeated Andrew College with a 77-54 victory to open up GCAA Conference play on Nov. 17. They were led by sophomore guard Kayla Carter and Jones with 19 points each.
