Molly Gaynier, Writer/Reporter
Molly Gaynier is a student obtaining her art and graphic design associate degree. She is looking forward to the Spring 2026 Old Red Kimono magazine as she has taken on the role of Art Editor. After a sudden and partially paralyzing car accident in 2023, she has taken a 180 from flower farming to building a career where art and journalism collide in order to develop a future that is both creative and communicative in local spaces. Outside of the newsroom, she lives the life of a suburban naturalist religiously birding, studying plant taxonomy, and spinning her home compost barrel. Evident in all of her work, whether in writing, graphic design, or paint and canvas, is her love for the outdoors.
