Savannah Pollocks, a new Lead Editor to the Six Mile Post, is currently 21 years old and resides in South Atlanta. She currently holds the position of a program assistant within the county's recreation department while also being in her third semester at GHC as a Journalism major. After Georgia Highlands, Savannah plans to transfer to Georgia State University to further her studies in Journalism with the goal of becoming an investigative journalist. She hopes that the people she encounters and the wisdom she gains from her work and educational experiences will equip her for that journey. Savannah enjoys reading, traveling, shopping and spending time with her close family and friends. She is also a history buff and loves to learn and talk about anything historical-related, whether it’s politics, entertainment, sports, religion etc. She hopes that her time and service on the Six Mile Post can not only help her in her personal and professional development but also benefit anyone who may happen to read and connect with something she writes.
