David Lee emerged as the victor of the fall semester intramural tennis tournament for the intermediate/advanced category.

On Nov. 8, Lee faced off against Andy Mathis in the last match of the intermediate/advanced bracket. The score for the match was 6-3, 6-2 in Lee’s favor. Lee, a veteran tennis player, explained how he had surgery on his leg recently and the tournament has been a great opportunity to get him reacquainted with tennis. Lee said, “Playing in the tournament has allowed me to get back into the game.” Referring to his match with Mathis, Lee said, “He’s a very consistent player; he made me hit a lot of good shots and kept me running.”
