Join the GHC Library Book Club on the first Monday of every month.

GHC library will begin hosting a monthly book club starting March 1 at 8 p.m. The meetings will be held via Zoom and all staff, students and faculty are invited to join.

Jessica Osborne, Assistant Professor of Library and Information Science, said, “I love book clubs. It’s just such an exchange of ideas and passion for books. I actually opened this up to more than just students, which I’m super excited about.”

Osborne will host the book club’s first two meetings choosing “Caste,” by Isabel Wilkerson as the first book. The second meeting will cover book one of the “Bridgerton” series, “The Duke and I,” by Julia Quinn.

“I think we’re going to have some interesting conversations,” Osborne said, “There’s at least one professor signed up. There’s a handful of students and a staff member too. It’s going to be an opportunity to hear from a lot of different perspectives.”

Participants should expect to obtain the books themselves. Check the GHC library system here to find a copy.
