Lady Chargers win first GCAA conference game of season

The Lady Chargers defeated the Albany Tech Lady Titans 59-54 to win their first GCAA conference game of the season on Dec. 10 at the Floyd campus gym.
Pam Diokpara led the Lady Chargers with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Maria Crider finished right behind Diokpara and contributed 12 points.
The women are now 4-7 for the season. Their next game will be on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Gadsden State in Gadsden, Ala. Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m. EST. The Lady Chargers’ next home game will be on Monday, Dec. 19 against Wallace State Hanceville at 1 p.m.
