The #3 seed Georgia Highlands College Lady Chargers softball team started playing the #6 seed Gordon State in the first round of the GCAA tournament at 1 p.m. on April 27.
The Lady Chargers played Gordon State for 3 1/2 innings before a weather delay. The game will resume on April 28 at 9 a.m.
The tournament is taking place at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville.

The winner of the 9 a.m. game will play again at 12:30 p.m. in the second round of the tournament. The winner of the 12:30 p.m. game will play again at 6:30 p.m.
