First week of GHC basketball in review

The Chargers and Lady Chargers have started their inaugural seasons. The Lady Chargers have gotten off to a winning start at 3-0, while the Chargers are still in search of their first win of the season. Here are the scores from the games so far:

Thursday, Nov. 1 @ East Mississippi Community College

  • Lady Chargers: W — 84-60
  • Chargers L — 57-97

Sunday, Nov. 4 vs. Wallace State College

  • Lady Chargers: W — 75-61
  • Chargers: L — 70-79

Tuesday, Nov. 6 vs. Georgia Northwestern Technical College

  • Lady Chargers: W — 90-55
  • Chargers: Georgia Northwestern’s men’s team would not agree to play the Chargers.
